I feel the shadow surfacing, plaguing my mind

Ego still resisting, denying the soul

This substance will decalcify, and raise the inner realms

Activating the third eye, outer body dies

Suddenly, a panic consumes me, the ego is struggling to let go
Voices surround me, the vision's fragmenting, the ego is fighting for control, but it will lose

This battle in my mind, insanity, calling me, reaching from beyond, the place where darkness grows, it festers and grows, and crawls into my soul, soon I will perish into the abyss

Of the shadow, I have become, one with my death, and I have seen, where I will go, where I have come from, what I have been, and what I'll always be

A fragment of the void, forgotten by the human mind,
A place so cold and dark, beyond the source of cosmic light
Entire galaxies condensed into a point
Amidst a sea of blackness
Emerge the sparks of
Life is the only freedom, from this empty space
Ego creating awareness, limiting the consciousness
Facing inner darkness, cold truth is shown
Buried inside - the truth of what really is

Tryptamines erase the part of me which thought it had control, destroy this mind, this body, all I used to be was an illusion attached to social conditioning, but that is gone and what remains is nothingness, the realm of everything the depths within the soul I will remain here for all of eternity

On ne frappe pas un homme à terre : c'est ce que dit la règle mais NONE a déjà prouvé qu'il ne les suivait pas et si son album éponyme retirait toute perspective de béatitude spirituelle, Life has gone on long enough, son deuxième opus, nous interdit l'accès au bonheur terrestre. La vie n'a aucune substance et la production plus distante le confirme. Le DSBM s'empare de textures sonores blues, mettant en relief une dépression urbaine. De l'action de descendre sciemment vers le néant au constat simple, lancé dans un dernier soupir, comme si on était mis devant le fait accompli : There is no beauty left here... Mais contre toute attente, ce chant du cygne d'Exiled from Light n'est pas une acceptation résignée de la mort. Mort (je parle de l'artiste) est animé de l'énergie du désespoir, cette énergie qui fait accomplir des choses extraordinaires quand tout est perdu et ça rend son DSBM très beau, paradoxalement.
